The front end means all the stuff that basically holds the wheels onto the car-a nice feature to have.  The front end includes ball joints, tie rods, rack and pinion, steering components, etc.
A well-maintained steering system ensures smooth and problem-free turning.  Neglected, it is unsafe and can result in the breakdown of your vehicle
When the driver turns the steering wheel, the system converts the steering force into vehicle direction change. This is a rack-and-pinion.  Failure of the rack-and-pinion can require greater steering force to change direction.  Some trouble signs of bad front in parts. Difficulty turning,  loose steering, popping noises, squeaks, clunking noises, steering wheel off center, wheel shimmy and tire wear.
