There are basically two types of Tune-Ups.

• A Basic Tune-Up                                 
• A Major Tune-Up                          

A basic Tune-Up usually involves the regular interval maintenance. It normally  includes:

• replacing the spark plugs
• inspecting the spark plug wires, distributor cap, distributor rotor,  air filter and fuel filter
• checking the dwell and timing

A Major Tune-Up is the most complete and beneficial service of your car.

• a test drive to replicate the symptoms encountered

• a complete diagnostic check -up

• the replacement or maintenance of any items on your vehicle identified in the diagnostic check-up.
